Reliability analysis is an essential tool that aids in making optimal decisions concerning the efficiency and applicability of any product. This paper aims to estimate the reliability of solid state luminaires by the use of design of experiments. Minitab is used as a software tool to analyze the main and interaction effects of current and temperature and perform regression as well as variance analysis. The results are then used to draw conclusions about the extent of impact of the factors considered and estimate the most efficient experiments for accurate reliability estimation.
