Abstract
Twin Rotor MIMO System (TRMS) is a bench mark system for control system studies. Its behaviour resembles helicopter system with significant cross coupling in longitudinal and lateral axis. Therefore a decoupler is designed to cancel out the cross coupling. Along with the decoupler a controller for TRMS is designed using loop shaping method which gives stable and required performance.
