Abstract

Zn0.97Mn0.03O thin films were deposited on glass substrate at 623K, 673K and 723K using spray pyrolysis method. The structure and optical properties of the deposited films were studied using X-ray diffraction (XRD) and UV spectroscopy. All deposited films were polycrystalline in nature and hexagonal wurtzite structure. Enhancement in grain size of the deposited film was found with increasing substrate temperature. Optical transmittance and energy band gap increase with increase in substrate temperature
