Abstract

In this paper, a mathematical model is developed to analyze optical characteristics of Light Emitting Diode (LED) down-lighter. LED is energy efficient and lasts longer compared to other bulbs hence, development of a mathematical model for its optical characteristics will help in estimating is life time performance.
