Abstract
Giant cell rich osteosarcoma is a rare histological variant of conventional osteosarcoma commonly presenting in long bones of appendicular skeleton. The occurrence in the mandible is exceptionally rare. Its radiologic and histologic resemblance to giant cell tumors can pose great diagnostic challenge. We report a case of giant cell rich variant of osteosarcoma of the mandible in a 16- year- old male patient.
