Abstract
Abstract—Cryptography is a process of sending information from one user to another user which provides security services to the wireless communication system. The IDEA is a block cipher that works with 64-bit plaintext block and ciphertext blocks and it has a 128-bit input key. This paper describes the designing and implementation of IDEA algorithm. It has 10 rounds and operates on user entry for input plain-text blocks of either 64 bit or 128 bit blocks and variable input key of length 64, 128, 192 and 256 bits.
