Abstract

The impact of the code rate and constraint length on the qualitative performance of optical interleave division multiple access(OIDMA)system is analysed. The various topologies of convolution encoder design have implemented by considering various shift registers as well as several Ex-OR gates to achieve the performance. Further, the bit error rate(BER) calculated for a different possible combination of random inter-leaver. The BER increases with the number of users, whereas it decreases with the code rate and constraint length
