Abstract
quoting the incident at AMRI hospital kolkata,author explains the gross violation of building codes these days.We are superimposing modern architectural structures and their lifestyle on traditional spaces.There is a need to examine our resistance to zoning laws which would result in the segregation of services such as shopping malls and hospitals in areas seperate from the residential ones.
