This paper presents the results of experimental studies conducted on the stability of statically stable reshaped berm breakwater. The weight of armor stones used in the model is about 40% lesser than that is required for a conventional breakwater for a design wave height of 0.1m. Berm breakwater models were tested for the stability for three different water depths. The dimensionless recession varied from 1 to7 for the design wave height of 0.10m and 7 to 12 for higher wave height of 0.12m for the different water depths.
