Abstract

Serum lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) and cholinesterase and plasma cortisol levels have been investigated in 29 unconscious patients with severe head injury and in 20 controls. the levels were significantly higher in severe head injury as compared to the controls and had prognosstic significance.
