Abstract
A cervical 3rd root perforation results in a communication of the pulp space with the periodontium and has poorer prognosis compared to a middle or apical 3rd ones. A non surgical repair is the treatment of choice but surgical management would be more appropriate when there is an associated periodontal problem. This case report is about the surgical correction of an iatrogenically caused cervical 3rd perforation opening into the periodontal pocket which was also simultaneously treated.
