Abstract

This paper explores the investigation of spreading codes used for code acquisition and synchronisation for DS-CDMA techniques. Here PN sequence is synchronised in the presence and absence of BPSK modulation. The data sequence which is spreaded using a PN sequence is a delayed version which is being estimated at the receiving end. This paper gives a effective synchronization technique between the transmitter and receiver module in the presence of AWGN which helps in minimizing the error rate computed between the transmitter and receiver block. We have also reviewed the autocorrelation and cross correlation of various spreading codes needed for the code acquisition and synchronization.
