Abstract

Forensic identification based on assessment of prosthodontic appliances is assuming greater signifecance , as lableling of dentures and other denture characteristics could provide vital clues for patient identification.In addition to the material and the make of the denture ,the biological characteristics of the ridge, rugal pattern and its inter individual variation in different population groups makes the of prosthodontist an important aspect for investigation and identification.
