Melioidosis is an emerging infectious disease, caused by the gram-negative saprophyte Burkholderia pseudomallei. This paper reports an atypical presentation of Melioidosis, which had the submandibular lymph node as the only ‘silent’ focus of infection, which was misdiagnosed as antibioma.
