Abstract
As the percentage of elderly population is expected to increase drastically in the coming years, the prevalence of visual impairment is likely to increase. This article discusses the importance of vision rehabilitation services for the visually impaired. It include the definitions and causes for vision impairment. It gives a brief idea about the low vision evaluation including the basic information about low vision devices. It also emphasizes the role of rehabilitation services in the day to day life visually impaired.
