Abstract
Ovulation trigger is being done with both, human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) and gonadotropin releasing hormone agonists (GnRHa) in recent years. Triggering final oocyte maturation with GnRH agonist during ovarian stimulation is feasible in certain situations. Effectiveness of GnRH agonist as an alternative to hCG in ovulation trigger is reviewed in this article.
