Abstract

Clinical success of root canal therapy mainly depends on the eradication of microorganisms from the root canal system. Understanding the mechanism of disease process, microorganisms, their colonization and biofilm formation will help us to disinfect the root canals. This review explains on biofilm formation and eradicating it from root canal system. Further research may contribute to develop newer techniques to completely render the root canal system disease free
