Abstract
Flexible Manufacturing systems (FMS) demand meeting challenges varying with time, resources and energy. The choice of controller for FMS is made difficult because changing demands in production and schedules. Fuzzy logic relates with handling of uncertainties in an evolved and structured manner and is adopted as the solution. To increase the efficiency of the control action, the fuzzy controller is implemented at two levels for the system
