Abstract
This paper describes the stir casting method tor the I1W7lIfCICIU0rl/! highdensity metal matrix composite in the semi-solid state. The critical step in the process is the insertion allow-density graphite particles in the high-density matrix. The technique includes the addition and mixing a/graphite particles in the viscous state. The rotation 0/ stirrer is faster than that 0/ crucible and in opposite direction. slicro structural examination shows a better dispersion ofparticulate in the matrix
