Abstract
Main aim of this paper is to use parallel processing principle to achieve speedup in Sieve of Eratosthenes. Here we used functional control parallel approach to Sieve of Eratosthenes and compared it with sequential algorithm. The analysis and computational results obtained here show that how the control parallel approach highly utilizes the processor resources and in turn contributes to speedup in the parallel computing system.
