Abstract

Transmission of data from the source to the sink occurs as soon as the path is established and data transfer is scheduled. Routes could go down for various reasons some could be due to loss in energy, broken link, faulty nodes etc. This paper tries to enhance the network life by finding an energy efficient path so that the path once established is alive for long and avoiding path failure due to depletion of energy. The parameters used for the simulation is as used in agricultural field.
