Abstract
We report a case of a 51-year-old, multigravida woman of Sikkimese origin who developed a bronchobiliary fistula as a complication of amoebic liver abscess which manifested as chronic cough and bile stained sputum. Diagnosis was established by presence of bile on sputum examination, fibre optic bronchoscopy findings, positive amoebic serology and radiological findings. Bronchobiliary fistula is an uncommon condition with multiple aetiologies.
