Abstract

Each user in the CDMA system modulates the data signal to a wideband spreading waveform. So it is essential that the spreading code employed in a spread spectrum should have very good correlation and statistical properties. In this paper we have improved the correlation property of various spreading codes by using the system function. The sharpness in these correlation properties is being maximized by using this system function which results in good antijam characteristics. The cross correlation and autocorrelation of various families of PN sequences are being depicted. This paper aims at a unified analysis of exhibiting the correlation properties of various spreading sequences. This paper also explores a comprehensive introduction to generation of spreading codes and their detection in the presence of additive white Gaussian noise.
